Samsung Galaxy Note7 is a bit better than the Galaxy XCover 5, with a global score of 79.5 against 78.1. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 construction is somewhat thinner and a little bit lighter than the Galaxy XCover 5, even though it was released 5 years before. Galaxy Note7 has a brighter screen than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a little bigger screen, a lot greater screen pixel density and a much higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has just a bit better performance than Galaxy Note7, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has a higher number of cores (although they are slower). Samsung Galaxy Note7 has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a camera with a much lower resolution, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better photos and videos in low-light situations and a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note7, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note7 features just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
