Comparison review
The Galaxy Note7 is a little bit better than Xperia XZ2 Compact, getting a global score of 79.5 against 79. The Galaxy Note7 is an older and just a little bit heavier device than the Xperia XZ2 Compact, but Samsung managed to build it way thinner anyway. Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Note7, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has 4 more processing cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Note7, although it has a just a little inferior pixel quantity in each screen inch, a quite smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note7, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing images in low light environments, and they both have the same video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rates, a bigger back camera sensor and a much more MP camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy Note7 features greater battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 22 percent more battery size.
