The Galaxy Note7 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max's 77.5 score. Galaxy Note7's body is somewhat lighter but just a little thicker than the Xiaomi Mi Max, and they were released only a couple months apart. Samsung Galaxy Note7 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a greater display pixels density.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note7, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has 64 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Mi Max features a processor that is very similar to the processor in Galaxy Note7, and although the Xiaomi Mi Max has 4 more CPU cores (although they are slower), they both have 4 GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Max features a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because it has a 39 percent bigger battery size. Xiaomi Mi Max shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Mi Max also counts with a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels.
