Comparison review
The iPhone 12 is slightly better than the Galaxy Note8, getting a overall score of 88.7 against 83. IPhone 12 has iOS 15.x OS, and Galaxy Note8 works with Android 9.0 Pie OS. The iPhone 12 design is much newer, thinner and somewhat lighter than the Galaxy Note8. The iPhone 12 has a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has 2 less CPU cores (although faster) and lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processor.
IPhone 12 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, although it has a just a little lower display density, a bit lower 1170 x 2532 pixels resolution and a bit smaller display. The iPhone 12 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the iPhone 12 also has a larger diafragm aperture for better photography and videos in low light environments and higher video frame rate.
The Galaxy Note8 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than iPhone 12, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 has longer battery performance than iPhone 12, because it has a 17% larger battery size.
Although Apple iPhone 12 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
