Comparison review
The iPhone 12 mini is a bit better than Galaxy Note8, having an 88.5 score against 83. The iPhone 12 mini construction is notably newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Note8. The iPhone 12 mini comes with iOS 14.x OS, while Galaxy Note8 counts with Android 9.0 Pie OS. Apple iPhone 12 mini counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a just a little lower number of pixels per inch in the display and a little smaller screen.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a very superior storage to install games and applications than iPhone 12 mini, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 256 GB. The iPhone 12 mini has a better performance than Galaxy Note8, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bits processor.

The iPhone 12 mini has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a 12 mega-pixels camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the iPhone 12 mini also has better video frame rates and a bigger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in low light situations.
Although iPhone 12 mini is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 12 mini, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Note8, resigning some features and specifications.
