Comparison review
The Apple iPhone X is a bit better than the Galaxy Note8, with an 88.1 score against 83. The Apple iPhone X is a thinner and somewhat lighter phone than the Galaxy Note8, even though both were released only 2 months apart. The iPhone X counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, although it has a quite smaller display, a lot worse resolution of 1125 x 2436 pixels and a little bit lower pixel density.
Apple iPhone X features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note8, because although it has 2 less processing cores and 3 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. Apple iPhone X has a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal memory capacity.
The iPhone X counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor providing a worse image quality and a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same video resolution and a camera in the back with a 12 megapixels, the iPhone X also counts with faster video frame rate.
The Galaxy Note8 features improved battery lifetime than iPhone X, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2716mAh.
Although iPhone X is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Note8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the iPhone X, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Note8, letting go some specifications.
