Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 7, getting an 83 score against 81.2. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is older than the Asus ROG Phone 7, it's design is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Asus ROG Phone 7 has Android 13, providing you some extra features and performance improvements.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a much greater hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 7, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Galaxy Note8 counts with a brighter screen than Asus ROG Phone 7, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower 1440 x 2960 resolution, it also counts with a little greater pixels amount per inch of display.
Asus ROG Phone 7 counts with a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 7 has a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
The Asus ROG Phone 7 takes better photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because it has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality pictures and videos, a back camera with lot more mega pixels and a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution.
