Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 score. The Galaxy Note8 is an extremely older cellphone than the Asus ROG Phone 8, but Samsung managed to make it lighter and a little bit thinner. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version, so it gives a lot of extra features and a performance increase.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a much better performing processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a lot lower display pixel density, it also counts with a little larger screen.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a lot better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and/or video in low light situations, it also counts with a way better 7680x4320 video resolution, a way larger sensor and a lot better resolution back camera.
