Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than Google Pixel, getting a score of 83 against 80.2. Galaxy Note8's body has the same thickness than Google Pixel, but it is a lot heavier. The Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better looking display than Google Pixel, because it has a little higher screen density, a bigger screen and a lot better 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features slightly more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 256 GB. Galaxy Note8 features a bit superior processor than Google Pixel, because it has more RAM and 4 more cpu cores.
The Galaxy Note8 and the Google Pixel both count with very similar cameras, because although the Google Pixel has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a back-facing camera with more MP and a bigger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
Galaxy Note8 features better battery performance than Google Pixel, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel, giving up a couple specifications.
