The Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is a little bit better than HTC U23 Pro's 77.8 overall score. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and HTC U23 Pro has Android 13, providing the user a couple additional features. The Galaxy Note8 is an a lot older phone than HTC U23 Pro, but Samsung was able to make it just a little lighter and a little thinner anyway.
Galaxy Note8 features a more vivid display than HTC U23 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px. Galaxy Note8 counts with a very superior processing power than HTC U23 Pro, although it has less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The HTC U23 Pro has a much better memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better camera than HTC U23 Pro, although it has a camera in the back with a lot worse 12 mega pixels resolution.
The HTC U23 Pro counts with a superior battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4600mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
