The Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 10, getting a score of 83 against 78.9. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, the Galaxy Note8 design is a bit thicker and a little bit heavier than Huawei Mate 10. Both phones in this comparison come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10 version.
Galaxy Note8 has a little faster processor than Huawei Mate 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 10 counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a little bit lower pixels number in each inch in the display, a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a little bit smaller screen.
Huawei Mate 10 counts with as much memory for applications, games, photos and videos as Samsung Galaxy Note8, they have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 10 features superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also counts with a larger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos.
Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Note8, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei Mate 10, giving up some features and specifications.
