The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, getting an 83 score against 82.9. Samsung Galaxy Note8's design has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but it is just a bit heavier. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note8. They have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a quite higher number of pixels in each inch in the screen, a quite better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a little larger screen. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a superior camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing images and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with a lot better 40 mega pixels resolution.
