Huawei Mate 30 has a general score of 84, which is slightly better than Galaxy Note8's 83 overall score. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 30 has the previous 10 version while Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Huawei Mate 30's design is incredibly newer and a bit thinner, but just a little bit heavier than the Galaxy Note8.
The Huawei Mate 30 features a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 30 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a slightly better looking screen than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel quantity per inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Huawei Mate 30 captures way better photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 30 also counts with a camera with much more megapixels, better video frame rates and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy Note8 has a little bit more storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 30, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei Mate 30 counts with greater battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 27% larger battery size.
