Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 50E, getting an 83 score against 78.9. Galaxy Note8 is a older and a bit thicker phone than Huawei Mate 50E, but Samsung made it just a bit lighter anyway. The Galaxy Note8 counts with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and Huawei Mate 50E comes with HarmonyOS 3 operating system.

Huawei Mate 50E has a little better processing power than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 50E also has more RAM. Galaxy Note8 has a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 50E, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a little better pixel quantity in each inch of screen.

Galaxy Note8 has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 50E, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 50E, although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing photos and video in low-light environments and a lot less megapixels back camera.
