Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is slightly better than Huawei nova 3's 76.3 general score. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and a performance increase. Galaxy Note8 is an older, thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than Huawei nova 3.
Galaxy Note8 has a bit sharper display than Huawei nova 3, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Galaxy Note8 also has more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960. Huawei nova 3 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB, the Huawei nova 3 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Huawei nova 3's CPU is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Note8 one, both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. Huawei nova 3 captures clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei nova 3 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Huawei nova 3 features a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity.
