Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than the Huawei P Smart (2021), with an 83 score against 79.2. Galaxy Note8 is an noticeably older phone than Huawei P Smart (2021), but Samsung was able to build it a bit thinner and just a bit lighter. These devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P Smart (2021) has Android 10.
The Galaxy Note8 has a bit better display than Huawei P Smart (2021), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a higher pixel count in each inch of screen. Galaxy Note8 has a bit superior processor than Huawei P Smart (2021), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Huawei P Smart (2021) features a much better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P Smart (2021) also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and pictures.
The Huawei P Smart (2021) has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Huawei P Smart (2021) has a superior battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
