Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is slightly better than the LG G3's 76.4 overall score. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a notably newer and just a little thinner phone than LG G3, although it's noticeably heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G3 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides you some nice extra features and performance optimizations.

LG G3 has a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a GPU. The LG G3 counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little worse 2560 x 1440 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch.

The Galaxy Note8 has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than LG G3, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit superior battery duration than LG G3, because it has a 10 percent greater battery size.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a little bit better camera than LG G3, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a way larger aperture to capture better low light photography and video and a bigger back camera sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G3. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the LG G3, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
