Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is a little bit better than LG G5's 76.1 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even though the Galaxy Note8 is newer than LG G5, it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 and LG G5 have really similar displays, because although the LG G5 has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels number per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit more powerful processor than LG G5, because it has 4 more cores and a greater amount of RAM.

LG G5 shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs or videos in low light environments and a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking worse quality photographs, and they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rates, the LG G5 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.

The LG G5 has a greater storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note8 features improved battery duration than LG G5, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 2800mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 not only is the best devices between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also cheaper than the other phone.
