Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is a little bit better than the LG G7 ThinQ's general score of 81. Despite being the best device in this comparison review, Galaxy Note8 is an a little bit thicker and heavier device than LG G7 ThinQ. Both devices in this review work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so they should give identical operating system features.

LG G7 ThinQ features a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little greater screen pixels density and a bit higher 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution. LG G7 ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note8, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.

LG G7 ThinQ has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG G7 ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Note8 has a bit longer battery performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

The LG G7 ThinQ takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with higher 60 frames per second video frame rate, a bigger aperture to capture better low light images and a way more mega pixels camera in the back.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G7 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G7 ThinQ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G7 ThinQ, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
