Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than LG G8X ThinQ, having an 83 score against 82.7. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10 version, so it counts with a couple additional features and increased performance. Despite being the best we compare here, the Galaxy Note8 is a notably older, just a little thicker and just a little heavier cellphone than LG G8X ThinQ.

The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Note8. They have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit sharper display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixels quantity per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960.

LG G8X ThinQ shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a 12 MP back-facing camera and a same size sensor, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rates.

The LG G8X ThinQ has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. LG G8X ThinQ has longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8X ThinQ. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get LG G8X ThinQ, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
