Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is a little bit better than the LG Q70's global score of 77.9. The Galaxy Note8 is a noticeably older and a little thicker phone than LG Q70, but Samsung made it a little bit lighter anyway. These phones have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG Q70 has Android 10.
Galaxy Note8 has a little more vivid display than LG Q70, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than LG Q70, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM.
The LG Q70 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor capturing lower quality photographs and a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the LG Q70 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot better resolution.
The LG Q70 counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG Q70 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Q70 has better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs more money than LG Q70, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
