Comparison review

Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than LG Q8, having a global score of 83 against 77.2. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat, providing you some extra features. Although the Galaxy Note8 is better than LG Q8, it must be told that it is also just a little thicker and incredibly heavier.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit faster CPU than LG Q8, because it has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a higher amount of RAM. LG Q8 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a quite lower 1440 x 2560 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little better display density.

LG Q8 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light images and video and a tinier back camera sensor capturing worse quality pictures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG Q8 also counts with a lot more mega-pixels back-facing camera.

LG Q8 has a greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
