Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than the LG V10, getting a general score of 83 against 78.6. The Galaxy Note8 design has the same thickness than the LG V10, but it is just a bit heavier. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and LG V10 has Android 5.1, providing some additional features and performance improvements.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a more powerful CPU than LG V10, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. LG V10 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note8, although it has a little bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a bit smaller screen and a quite lower screen pixels density.

LG V10 has a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video and a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality pictures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the LG V10 also counts with a back facing camera with a much better resolution and higher video frame rate.

The LG V10 features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG V10 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Note8 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than LG V10, because it has a 10 percent larger battery size.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than LG V10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V10. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Note8, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the LG V10, resigning some features and specs.
