Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13.

The Galaxy Note8 has an extremely better processor than Motorola Edge 40 Neo, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Motorola Edge 40 Neo features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a way lower 1080 x 2400px resolution and a just a little worse pixels amount per screen inch, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen.
