Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is just a bit better than Moto Z2 Play's general score of 77.4. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a way thicker and noticeably heavier cellphone than Moto Z2 Play. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a little better performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a slightly better looking screen than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a greater count of pixels per inch in the display, a much better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a little bit bigger screen. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better camera than Moto Z2 Play. Both of them have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same (4K) video definition, a same size diafragm aperture and a back facing camera with a 12 MP.

The Moto Z2 Play features a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Moto Z2 Play also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note8 has just a bit longer battery performance than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto Z2 Play. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Moto Z2 Play, resigning some specifications.
