Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is slightly better than Moto Z3's 77.6 general score. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 construction is older, heavier and much thicker than the Moto Z3. These devices use the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect.

The Galaxy Note8 has a little bit better screen than Moto Z3, because it has a greater count of pixels per inch in the screen, a better 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a little bit larger display. The Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Motorola Moto Z3 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a processor that is just as good as the Galaxy Note8 one, and although the Motorola Moto Z3 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Galaxy Note8 takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto Z3, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note8 also has a larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and videos.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a little better battery lifetime than Moto Z3, because it has a 10 percent more battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs a lot more than the Motorola Moto Z3, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
