Even though the Galaxy Note8 is much older than the Motorola One Hyper, it's body is a little thinner and a bit lighter. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Motorola One Hyper has Android 11 version, providing you some extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better display than Motorola One Hyper, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a greater screen density. Motorola One Hyper counts with a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal storage.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola One Hyper, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM. Motorola One Hyper has better battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. The Motorola One Hyper takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Motorola One Hyper also counts with a camera with way more mega pixels.

The Galaxy Note8 costs more money than Motorola One Hyper, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
