The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is slightly better than the Motorola One Zoom's overall score of 80. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is an older and just a little heavier phone than the Motorola One Zoom, but Samsung could make it just a little bit thinner anyway. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a little better processing power than Motorola One Zoom, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better looking display than Motorola One Zoom, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater amount of pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960. The Motorola One Zoom features a better memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has an external memory slot that admits up to 128 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The Motorola One Zoom features a much better camera than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, a F1.7 diafragm aperture and the same video frame rates, the Motorola One Zoom also has a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a back camera with way more megapixels.

The Motorola One Zoom counts with improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
