Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than the nubia Red Magic 5S, having a global score of 83 against 76.2. Both phones we compare here use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version and nubia Red Magic 5S has Android 10, so it provides you some nice extra features. Galaxy Note8's construction is lighter and thinner than the nubia Red Magic 5S, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit better looking display than nubia Red Magic 5S, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and more pixels per inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little bit more storage to store more apps and games than nubia Red Magic 5S, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
Nubia Red Magic 5S has a bit better performance than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the nubia Red Magic 5S also has a greater amount of RAM. Nubia Red Magic 5S features a much better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking photographs and video in low-light situations, it also counts with a back camera with a much better 64 megapixels resolution, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor and a lot better video resolution.
The nubia Red Magic 5S counts with greater battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a 36 percent more battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note8 is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest, making this phone a great choice.
