The Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 (2018), with a global score of 83 against 79.2. Despite being the best cellphone in this review, it must be told that it's also a heavier and just a little thicker cellphone. Galaxy Note8 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM memory.
The Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better screen than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution, a bit higher pixel quantity in each inch in the screen and a little bigger display. The Galaxy A8 (2018) and Samsung Galaxy Note8 feature similar memory to store more apps and games, they have exactly the same internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
Galaxy Note8 takes slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera, and they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy Note8 also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. Galaxy Note8 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a 3300mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
