Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy C5 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it provides you lots of additional features and performance optimizations.
Galaxy Note8 features a bit faster processor than Galaxy C5, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a slightly better screen than Galaxy C5, because it has a larger display, a little more pixels per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2960px.
The Galaxy Note8 features a bit better camera than Galaxy C5, because although it has a much less mega pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a larger aperture. Galaxy Note8 features just a bit more memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy C5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
