Comparison review

The Galaxy Fold has an overall score of 97.6, which is better than the Galaxy Note8's overall score of 83. Both of these phones include the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so both should provide identical OS features. The Galaxy Fold design is newer and noticeably thinner, but extremely heavier than the Galaxy Note8.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy Fold, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and more pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy Fold has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory.

The Galaxy Fold counts with a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Fold also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Fold features a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same video quality, a same resolution back camera and the same back camera sensor size, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has a larger aperture to take better low light images and videos and higher 60 fps video frame rate.

The Galaxy Fold features longer battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
