The Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J8, getting a general score of 83 against 76.7. Galaxy Note8 is an older, just a little heavier and just a little thicker phone than Samsung Galaxy J8. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10, providing the user some nice extra features and increased performance.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because it has a quite bigger display, a much greater number of pixels per display inch and a lot better 1440 x 2960 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy J8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has more RAM.
The Galaxy J8's memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Galaxy Note8's one, they have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB and equal internal memory. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a much worse resolution camera in the back, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also counts with a way better (4K) video resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Samsung Galaxy J8 counts with a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 6% larger battery size.
