Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note 3, with an 83 score against 81.2. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Note 3 has Android 5.0 version, so it counts with a lot of extra features. Samsung Galaxy Note8's design is a lot newer than Galaxy Note 3's, but it is heavier and a little thicker.

The Galaxy Note8 has a bit better processor than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and more RAM. The Galaxy Note 3 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, although it has a little smaller display, a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a much lower pixels density.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a camera with a worse 12 megapixels resolution and a worse video definition, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality pictures and a much larger camera aperture.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB. Galaxy Note8 features a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 3300mAh battery size against 3200mAh.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note 3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, giving up some specifications.
