Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note5, getting a overall score of 83 against 80.2. Galaxy Note8 is a way newer device than the Samsung Galaxy Note5, but it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2960, a quite higher screen density and a quite bigger display.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a little better processing power than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note8 also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy Note5 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture and a smaller camera sensor, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note5 also counts with a much more MP back camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note5, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
