Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S10 has the older 11 version while Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy S10 body is newer, somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Note8.

Samsung Galaxy S10 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S10 also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S10 features a little sharper display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher 1440 x 3040 resolution and a just a little more pixels per screen inch.

Samsung Galaxy S10 counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note8, because it has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy S10 features just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 3 percent more battery size.

The Galaxy S10 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, a same size back camera sensor and a 12 megapixels resolution back camera, the Galaxy S10 also has faster video frame rates and a bigger camera aperture to take better captures and video in low light situations.
