Galaxy S21 is better than the Galaxy Note8, getting a 91.8 score against 83. These phones have Android operating system, but Galaxy S21 has the previous 11 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Galaxy S21's construction is notably newer, a bit thinner and somewhat lighter than Galaxy Note8.

Galaxy S21 counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, although it has a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a little bit smaller screen and a little lower number of pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy S21 features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy S21 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

The Galaxy S21 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same resolution camera, the Galaxy S21 also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a way bigger camera sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S21, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Samsung Galaxy S21 has improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy S21 is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note8, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
