Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than the Galaxy S5 Sport, getting an 83 score against 77.8. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a noticeably newer and just a little bit thinner phone than the Galaxy S5 Sport, but it is somewhat heavier. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2 version, providing you a couple nice extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport's processor is just as good as Galaxy Note8's processor, because although the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a smaller amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note8, although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, a bit smaller screen and a little bit worse pixel number per inch of display.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 48 GB more internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB. The Galaxy Note8 and the Galaxy S5 Sport have quite similar cameras, because although the Galaxy S5 Sport has a smaller camera sensor and a way tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, it also counts with a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.

Galaxy Note8 has longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has an 18 percent larger battery capacity.

The Galaxy Note8 costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
