Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is a bit better than the Galaxy S6 Active's 80.9 score. Both of these devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S6 Active has Android 5.0 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features and increased performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a better looking display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little worse 2560 x 1440 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater pixels number in each inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an extra graphics processor.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger sensor and a larger aperture for better low light photos. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with much more storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 64 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 6 percent more battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S6 Active. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy S6 Active, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
