Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7, getting a global score of 83 against 79.5. The Galaxy Note8 body is newer, but just a bit thicker and much heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S7. Galaxy S7 features a brighter display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little higher pixel amount per inch of screen.

The Galaxy Note8 features a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB. Galaxy Note8 has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy S7, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh. Samsung Galaxy S7 features a camera that's very similar to Galaxy Note8's camera, and although the Samsung Galaxy S7 has a bigger camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs, they both have a 12 MP resolution back camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same video frame rates and the same aperture.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S7. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Galaxy S7, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
