Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy S7 edge's overall score of 78.1. Samsung Galaxy Note8's body is newer than the Galaxy S7 edge's, but it's thicker and heavier. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 2 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores (and also faster). Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a quite inferior pixel quantity in each inch of screen, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a bit bigger screen.

Galaxy Note8 features a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 256 GB.
