Comparison review
Galaxy Z Flip is a bit better than Galaxy Note8, getting an 88.5 score against 83. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Z Flip has an older 12 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Galaxy Z Flip's body is a lot newer, a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Galaxy Note8.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater count of pixels in each inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Galaxy Note8 and Galaxy Z Flip count with really similar batteries performance. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking photos in low light situations, and they both have the same video quality, a camera with a 12 mega pixels and a same size back camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also counts with better video frame rates.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Note8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
