The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a score of 85.6, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note8's 83 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 construction is newer, notably thinner and just a little lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Note8. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has the older 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy Note8 has a slightly better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
Galaxy Z Flip 3 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 also has a greater amount of RAM. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Note8, resigning a couple specifications.
