Comparison review
The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is much better than the Galaxy Note8, getting a global score of 92.3 against 83. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is a newer cellphone, and it is also thinner and a bit lighter than Galaxy Note8. Both phones in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Z Flip 5G has an older 11 version and Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Galaxy Z Flip 5G has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G also has more RAM. Galaxy Note8 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy Z Flip 5G, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per display inch and a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light photography, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size sensor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G's battery duration is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note8 one.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is more expensive than the Galaxy Note8, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
