Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, having a 94.6 score against 83. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has older 11 version while Samsung Galaxy Note8 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is extremely newer and noticeably thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Note8's, although it is extremely heavier.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM memory. Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and faster 60 fps video frame rates.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has longer battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.

Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Note8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note8, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
