Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a general score of 83, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 1 V's 82.7 overall score. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has 9.0 Pie version and Xperia 1 V has Android 13 version. Although it's the best cellphone we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a incredibly older, a little bit thicker and a bit heavier cellphone than the Xperia 1 V.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia 1 V, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a little bit inferior amount of pixels per inch of display. Sony Xperia 1 V features a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a much faster processor than Xperia 1 V, although it has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Sony Xperia 1 V counts with a superior battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. The Xperia 1 V has a way better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light photos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia 1 V also counts with a back facing camera with much more MP, higher 120 fps video frame rate and a lot larger back camera sensor.
