Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia 10 II, having an 83 score against 78.5. Although it's the best in this review, we must note that it's also much older, much heavier and a little bit thicker. These devices have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Sony Xperia 10 II has Android 10 version, giving a couple nice extra features and a performance increase.

The Galaxy Note8 features just a little better hardware performance than Xperia 10 II, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note8 also has a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia 10 II, because it has a quite bigger screen, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a just a bit greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 10 II, and although they both have a back-facing camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution, the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and videos.

Xperia 10 II counts with a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity. The Sony Xperia 10 II features a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.
