Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ Premium's 79.8 score. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, it must be told that it is also a little bit heavier and just a little thicker. The Xperia XZ Premium has a more vivid screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better screen pixel density and a better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels.
Xperia XZ Premium has a CPU that is very similar to the Galaxy Note8 one, and although the Xperia XZ Premium has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Xperia XZ Premium and Galaxy Note8 count with incredibly similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB and equal internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity. Sony Xperia XZ Premium takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a way more mega pixels back facing camera.
