Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Premium, having a overall score of 83 against 82.2. The Galaxy Note8 body is somewhat lighter and way thinner than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, despite of the fact that it was released only 11 months before. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note8. They have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a better display than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2160 x 3840 resolution and a higher display density. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a larger sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures and a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has an external memory slot that holds up to 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little longer battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 7 percent larger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is not only the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
