Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a bit better than Sony Xperia Z5, with an 83 score against 77.6. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, giving some nice extra features. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 design is newer than Sony Xperia Z5's, but it's thicker and incredibly heavier.
Xperia Z5 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Note8, although it has a quite inferior amount of pixels per screen inch, a little bit smaller screen and a lot worse 1920 x 1080px resolution. Galaxy Note8 and Xperia Z5 feature incredibly similar CPUs, because although the Xperia Z5 has less RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Xperia Z5 counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a larger sensor providing a higher image quality and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xperia Z5, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Galaxy Note8 features a little better battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 14% larger battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs a little more money than Xperia Z5, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
